Project Consultant (Junior Building Surveyor)

Assist with building inspections, documentation, and client liaison for construction projects.

Tasks

-Support in producing monthly progress reports. -Issuing Statutory Certificates (Design/Completion) -Liaise as required with Building Contractors, Clients, Architects and Engineering regarding compliance with statutory regulations and guidelines and other technical documents. -Participate in team-building and community support activities with a team that has been certified as a “Best Workplace” for five consecutive years by our employees and Great Place to Work®. -Preparing, issuing, and reviewing inspection records for each project. -Work on meaningful projects that impact communities globally. -Support in monitoring drawings and documents related to the Development of the Design -Carry out and produce reports for Building Control inspections, building surveys and other associated services, and liaise as required with all relevant parties. -Attending site meetings and undertaking site inspections. -Submitting documentation to the Building Control Authority

What You Bring

-IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS -Commercial awareness of business trends and impacts on the real estate and construction industries in the local market (Ireland) -Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English. -Use of the Building Control Management System (BCMS) for projects -Demonstrates attention to detail to produce quality work. -Professional accreditation or Intent on developing accreditation in one of Engineering, Building Surveying, Architecture. -Excellent communication skills. -Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience working in the construction industry -Holds a valid driver's license. -University Degree or equivalent to any of the following: Engineering, Building Surveying or Architecture. -Good analytical and interpersonal skills. -Self-motivated with good organizational, communication and report writing skills.
