Overview

Estimate fire protection systems, conduct site visits, and drive sales for construction projects.

Tasks

-Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users. -Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1MM+. -Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies. -Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings. -Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.

What You Bring

-Experience performing tasks such as layout, takeoff, and hydraulic calculations to put contract proposals together for customers. -Previous design and/or Project Management experience taking projects from cradle to grave. -Experience with various design software/tools such as AutoCad, Revit, Revu, and Navisworks. -Previous Contract Sales experience with ground up warehouse, retrofit warehouse, and cold storage warehouses would be a plus -Understanding of underground design and install procedures for bidding purposes would be a plus. -Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, able to multi-task and organize work -Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, and 20 standards and local codes. -Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills -Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required -Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection Business -Minimum 10 years of experience in a Fire Protection industry
