The Role

Overview

Coordinate field production, oversee training, logistics, and productivity for construction projects

Tasks

-Work with other team members to define and implement plans for field production and installation, including implementation of sequencing and logistics plans for most efficient throughput and production. -Assist with additional record-keeping, meetings, reports as required. -Oversee and deliver Induction Training to subcontractor crews prior to project starts to ensure knowledge of required process. -Enhance Communitas -Ensure implementation of QA/QC, safety process, and daily checklists. -Execute to Project Takt plans and enable and manage trade stacking; maintain defined pace required per project execution plan. -Monitor and manage productivity; track and report on daily (or as required) basis. -Review and understand project execution plans before being deployed on projects. -Oversee materials management and logistics: materials on time and in place.

What You Bring

-Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented abilities. -Understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles. -Proficiency in MS Office, Procore, and Blue Beam with the ability to learn other systems as required. -Strong verbal and written communication abilities. -1-2 years' experience in construction or related fields. -A team player with leadership qualities and the ability to build good relationships with other site leaders. -Bachelor’s Degree in engineering OR Military background with Associate’s Degree or higher. -Familiarity with quality control, and health and safety standards including OSHA certification. -Lean 101 / 6 Sigma training preferred. -Ability to interpret, create, and implement plans and schedules.
