Tasks

This role involves preparing accurate and competitive estimates and quotations for commercial flooring works. You’ll work closely with clients, prospects, and tenders to measure, specify, design, and quote for flooring installations. You’ll also play a key role in supporting project acquisition and delivery, helping to maintain strong client relationships and ensure successful outcomes. -Negotiate terms, secure contracts, and build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business. -Conduct site visits to measure work and monitor project progress. -Assist and manage tender processes by preparing detailed take-offs from site drawings and specifications. -Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering without compromising quality. -Act as a liaison between internal teams, main contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. -Follow up on previous enquiries and maintain ongoing client communication. -Contribute to the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.

What You Bring

Monday to Friday, office-based with regular site visits. -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important. -Full and clean UK driving licence (essential). -Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. -Understanding of commercial contracts, job cost analysis, and sales processes (advantageous). -Experience in the construction industry (flooring experience preferred).
