Perform geotechnical investigations, analysis, design and reporting for diverse engineering projects.

Tasks

-Developing field exploration and laboratory testing plans for geotechnical engineering investigations -Collaborating with various other consultants including civil engineers, structural engineers, architects, and construction managers -Sampling and logging soils and rock during field investigations -Review of foundation plans and grading plans for conformance with geotechnical engineering investigation reports -Preparing proposals for geotechnical engineering services -Tracking budgets and schedule to ensure project requirements are met -Research, engineering analysis and preparation of geotechnical engineering reports -Executing geotechnical engineering projects from start to finish -Coordinating/managing field investigations

What You Bring

-Demonstrated ability to listen, learn and communicate at highest levels. -Critical thinking and judgment skills -Professional level written, and oral communications skills are necessary -BS in Civil Engineering and EIT required; MS with a Geotechnical Engineering focus strongly preferred -Understanding and working familiarity with computer programs, geotechnical engineering software and databases as required -Educational emphasis on Soils Mechanics, Foundations, Geotechnical Engineering and Civil Engineering
