Tasks

-Schedule and maintain daily work order assignments including preventative maintenance programs for maintenance operators and electricians. -Manage inventory of parts, supplies and materials required for maintenance operations. -Promote employee personal development by training team members in the maintenance of equipment in plant operations including safety procedures and preventative maintenance practices. -Perform plant operations maintenance duties at Water and/or Wastewater plants, pumping stations and other water facilities in the Central Division operations. -Read and interpret mechanical drawings/plans, documents and OEM manuals. -Monitor work quality and procedures to ensure adherence to EPCOR safety standards and procedures. -Prioritize work assignments to determine personnel, equipment and materials required to complete projects.

You’ll manage maintenance projects, lead a skilled team, and ensure safety and quality across plant facilities. Ideal candidates bring at least five years of hands-on experience, ADEQ certifications, and strong leadership and technical skills. Apply today and help keep essential services running smoothly. -A requirement of working for EPCOR is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in the United States. -Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel required. -Additional higher level grade certifications in Water Distribution, Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment or Wastewater Collections are highly desirable. -Expertise in safety practices in the operation of mechanical and electrical equipment used in water and wastewater facilities. -Ability to lift greater than 25+ pounds frequently. -Some overnight travel required; less than 5%. -Detailed understanding of all aspects of maintenance associated with water production and water/wastewater treatment operations. -Minimum of five (5) years’ hands-on experience in Water or Wastewater operations with a focus on maintenance. -Solid time management and organization skills. -Class A Arizona driver’s license (or able to get a class A within 1 year of hire) and a clean driving record. -Lead projects through completion and demonstrate ability to resolve issues independently. -Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. -Excellent leadership skills and interpersonal skills. -Fabrication and pipe fitting/plumbing experience. -If you are considered for the position, clearance on all applicable background checks (which may include criminal, driving, educational, and/or credit) and professional reference checks is required. -To meet the physical demands required of some positions, candidates must be in good physical condition and willing to work in all weather conditions. Clearance on pre-employment drug testing will be required. -ADEQ Grade 3 certifications in Water Distribution and/or Water Treatment. -Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a lead or supervisory role. -Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills as well as strong communication skills.
