Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses/design using software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and PC-SWMM
Develop project scopes, schedules, fees, and budgets, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations
Perform bridge and culvert scour analyses and design stormwater infrastructure improvements
Collaborate with internal and external partners, including clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, design, and project execution
Lead, plan, and oversee all phases of water resources projects including - flood response and mitigation, stormwater and watershed management, stream and river restoration, bank and shoreline stabilization, and dam repairs and removals
Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and maintaining strong client relationships
Prepare design plans, cost estimates, specifications, and technical reports
Support the development of regulatory permits and funding applications; including local, state, and federal submittals

Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and the Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering required
Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain within one year
8–10 years of progressive experience in water resources engineering
Occasional travel to client sites within New England (10%)
Proven ability to provide technical mentorship and collaborate across disciplines
Experience developing and submitting local, state, and federal permit applications and grant materials
Strong hydrologic and hydraulic modeling skills with experience using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and/or PC-SWMM
Strong understanding of industry regulations, codes, and standards
