The Role

Overview

Assist construction tasks, handle materials, ensure site safety and cleanliness.

Tasks

-Secure building areas and report any security concerns to the Site Manager. -Assist with loading/unloading and storing materials safely, minimizing loss or damage. -Tidy and prepare the site, disposing of debris and waste properly. -Open and close the site daily. -Maintain site tidiness and organization, ensuring compliance with housekeeping policies. -Erect and maintain safety signage and secure hazards at the end of the day. -Follow safety procedures and report violations to Site Management. -Report incidents and assist with site safety in line with group standards. -Check and receive material deliveries according to site requirements. -Maintain a clean, safe site by properly storing materials and securing tools/equipment. -Assist with snagging and cleaning plots.

What You Bring

-Able to demonstrate genuine interest in working in the construction industry -Able to always represent the Company professionally -Able and willing to attend site out of hours to deal with emergency situations -Attention to detail -Resourceful and capable of using own initiative -Experience as a Labourer or trades person -Able to work effectively and safely under pressure -CSCS Card -Willing to travel to other sites on a regular basis -Able to multitask -Customer focused -Excellent time keeping and attendance record -Full UK Driving License -Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
