The Role

Overview

Operates earth‑moving equipment to move materials, grade sites, and perform maintenance.

Tasks

-Performs inspections of the equipment prior to and at the end of daily operations. -Maintains equipment and tools to ensure long lasting use. -Responsible and accountable for the safety of all co-workers and any others incumbent comes in contact with. -Responsible and accountable for incumbent’s own personal safety. -Fastens attachments, graders, buckets, and rollers to tractor with hitch-pins. -Operates earth moving equipment. -Reports any and all violations of applicable laws, regulations or Company policies and procedures promptly, and is subject to appropriate disciplinary action (including dismissal) for failure to do so. -Checks to make sure that equipment functions properly. -All employees, current and former, must maintain confidentiality by not disclosing to others any confidential, proprietary or trade secret information belonging to the Company. -Greases all appropriate parts as recommended by the manufacturer. -Cleans, maintains, and makes basic repairs to equipment. -Responsible and accountable for the safety of all co-workers and any other incumbents encountered. -Complies with all applicable laws, regulations and Company policies and procedures, and is subject to appropriate disciplinary action (including dismissal) for failure to do so. -Maintains the equipment as per manufacturer guidelines. -Reports malfunctioning equipment to supervisors promptly. -Reports all violations of applicable laws, regulations or Company policies and procedures promptly, and is subject to appropriate disciplinary action (including dismissal) for failure to do so.
