Tasks
-Formulate and implement strategic supply/subcontractor plans which are aligned with our procurement requirements and market demands. -Develop strong, collaborative relationships with internal partners from Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of all procurement aspects. -Engage in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will serve as the primary liaison within procurement, coordinating with suppliers/subcontractors, to effectively manage your designated procurement scope. -Leverage advanced digital systems to manage supplier/subcontractor information, requests for proposals, purchase order placements, and invoice payments with precision. -Identify and drive substantial cost reductions/cost out opportunities related to the direct procurement of materials, products, and services, contributing to financial targets. -Address challenges proactively - analyzing and resolving sophisticated issues with well-found solutions. -Conduct comprehensive commercial evaluations of proposals and lead critical negotiations, collaborating with technical colleagues to support discussions and clarifications.

What You Bring
-Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 15% of the time. -Five years or more of project related experience; strategic procurement and/or construction procurement experience a plus. -Solid knowledge and experience with terms and conditions concepts/negotiation of business position. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals with differing knowledge levels. -Team oriented, customer focused, time management/organizational skills. -Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Business, Engineering or related field. -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers. -Digital tool savvy – various internal tools are used to manage daily position responsibilities.
