Tasks

-Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering. -Managing contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice. -Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget. -Establishing friendly, professional and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support. -Cost Management of a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies. -Proactively providing sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders. -Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow, and ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner. -Driving improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets. -Identifying and driving efficiencies and improvements through the project lifecycle -Managing, supporting and mentoring junior staff members -Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed. -Leading the commercial delivery of a variety of projects

What You Bring

-A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle -Contract Management (JCT and Or NEC forms of contract) -Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering. -A wide variety of project experience gained over at least 5 years. -Degree or HNC level qualification -Excellent communication with stakeholders -Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time. -Professionally qualified is desired (MRICS or similar)
