The Role

Overview

Lead and manage IT contract projects for government, overseeing cost, schedule, quality, risk.

Tasks

-Coordinate and collaborate closely with the Government Project Manager throughout the contract period. -Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. -Track and report on project performance, including cost, schedule, and deliverables. -Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk to ensure successful delivery. -Manage and control project funds and resources effectively. -Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications. -Responsible for Cost, Schedule, Performance, Technical Quality, Risks Management, Deliverables, and responsible for all aspects of the effort. -Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related project activities. -Provide guidance on task execution across varying levels of size and scope. -Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, technical standards, and quality expectations. -Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects from inception through deployment. -Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. -Experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress. Shall be able to identify and mitigate risks. -Structured problem solving -Experience working in federal or defense environments. -Experience managing IT related projects. -IAT Level II Certification -Industry standard technical and network certifications. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Shall be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies. -PMP certification or equivalent program management credentials. -A minimum of TOP SECRET/SCI security clearances are required. -At least 10 years of Government related PM experience with PMP; Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent from an accredited school. -Ability to use multiple communication methods (written/visual) to work with all levels of staff. -Self-starter with ability to perform and lead work independently. -Experience in project development from inception to deployment, demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction in tasks of varying levels of size and scope of effort, proven expertise in the management and control of funds and resources, demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts of this type and complexity envisioned for this effort.
