Assist survey crew with field data collection, equipment maintenance, and record keeping.

Tasks
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and the survey crew. Terrain Assessment: Aid in the assessment of terrain, topography, and property lines to assist the survey team in data interpretation. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the survey crew leader and other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of surveying tasks. Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate field notes, sketches, and data records for use in creating survey reports and maps. Field Data Collection: Assist the survey crew in conducting field surveys by setting up and operating surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors. Instrument Maintenance: Ensure the proper care, maintenance, and calibration of surveying instruments and equipment to guarantee accurate measurements. What You Bring
-Previous experience as a Land Survey Crew Member is preferred but not required; training will be provided. -Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. -Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. -Excellent communication and teamwork skills. -Familiarity with surveying equipment and techniques is a plus. -Physical fitness and stamina for extended periods of outdoor work. -High school diploma or equivalent.
