Perform electrical root cause analysis and launch support for automotive vehicles.

Tasks
-Perform electrical validation testing and document results as required -Conduct repair, customer audit testing, and management update meetings -Gather engineering teams from multiple engineering disciplines and direct them in solving complex vehicle problems -Work with zone representatives that are supporting vehicle dealerships -Investigate problems found on early prototype engineering vehicles and coordinate interim and long-term solutions with the component releasing engineers -Performing electrical root cause analysis on prototype and production level vehicles -Support a variety of launch activities at assembly plants and pilot plants -Direct and coordinate trouble shooting and repair activities at engineering and assembly facilities -Provide remote and direct support for dealerships experiencing difficult problems with vehicles

What You Bring
We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Root Cause and Launch Support Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry. -Understand BUS tools, scopes, and other test equipment -Previous experience with vehicle validation testing -Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering -Minimum 3 years of related electrical systems -Troubleshooting experience with vehicle systems at assembly plants, road trips, pilot build areas and proving grounds -Experience performing circuits analysis on the vehicle sub-systems -Basic knowledge of software and modeling concepts -Circuit analysis and trouble shooting skills -Familiarity with vehicle engine system -Valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record -Strong leadership and communication skills
