The Role
Overview
Operate extrusion equipment, ovens, crane, and stretchers while ensuring safety.

Tasks
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. -Accepts feedback from the Team Captain to ensure the bundles meet safety standards. -Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation. -Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems. -Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE). -Loading metal and spacers -Operator an Overhead Crane -While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. -Visually monitoring parts for over-stretch or under-stretch conditions -Monitoring and removing press scrap -Loading and starting Age Ovens Unload Age Ovens -Comply with safety policies and procedures.

What You Bring
-HS Diploma/GED -The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. -Must be able to read and understand a tape measure -Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented. -Must also pass a skills-based test. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. -Able to participate in a collaborative environment. -Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. -Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter. -Must pass a company background check and drug screen. -Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
