Service Delivery Engineer

Overview

Provide 2nd line IT support and onsite services to users across multiple sites.

Tasks

-Maintain users (account configuration, starters & leavers, support new users, mailboxes, etc) -Communicate with members of the IT department to ensure internal SLA’s are met -Provide training to end users and other members of IT staff as required -Ensure your workplace is kept tidy and any hazards are eliminated or reported to your line manager. -Participate in allocated projects, including (but not exclusive to): -Design and build -Wear appropriate protective clothing on site at all times. -Attend all health and safety training as required by the Company -Update process and maintain documentation -Delivery of new equipment (PC, printers, mobile devices) -Provide regular updates on progress to relevant teams and individuals -Attend departmental meetings as required, contributing as necessary -Always Adhere to the IT Security Strategy -Visit and support regional head offices on a regular basis -Provide 2nd line support from a shared pool -Ensure you have read the Company’s health and safety policies and procedures and observe them at all times. -Commission, relocate and decommission sites (sales & build) -Work with the department to provide services to all users: -Deploy infrastructure (cabling, communications, etc.)

What You Bring

-Ability to quickly understand requirements/design -Good working knowledge of current development methodologies and how to implement them in a small team -PC and peripheral hardware -CompTIA A+/N+/Server+/Security -A working knowledge or a desire to learn and implement new technologies -Strong organisational and administration skills -Test, proof of concept and pilot -Excellent customer service skills -Computing related academic qualification -Excellent interpersonal skills both face to face and over the phone -Ability to work under pressure -Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise and to strike the right balance between long term/projects and short term/support issues -Excellent written / oral communication skills, ability to influence others at all levels -Microsoft Active Directory user/group administration and group policy/Entra ID -Cisco CCENT/CCNA -Hold a full UK driving licence -Microsoft Windows 11 -Microsoft MCP -Networking fundamental
