Service hydraulic systems, small engines, aerial lifts, and heavy-duty equipment used in telecom and utility construction.
Maintain accurate service records and inventory of parts in compliance with company standards.
Troubleshoot equipment failures in the field and perform emergency repairs as needed.
Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements when maintaining or operating vehicles and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks on fleet equipment.
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on company vehicles, trucks, trailers, and specialized construction equipment.
Assist in training operators and field personnel in proper equipment use and basic maintenance practices.
Coordinate with supervisors and logistics staff to prioritize repairs and schedule preventative maintenance.

Willingness to travel to field sites for on-site repairs, preferred.
Valid driver’s license with CDL certification, preferred.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems commonly used in telecom and utility construction.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Welding and fabrication skills, preferred.
3+ years of mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and/or construction equipment.
Ability to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle components.
Familiarity with DOT inspection requirements and fleet maintenance programs.
