BIM Specialist - Fusion 360

Overview

Design and develop electrical manufacturing models using Fusion 360.

Tasks

-Develop and optimize parametric designs for manufacturability, efficiency, and scalability. -Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, and operations) to ensure designs meet safety, compliance, and quality standards. -Produce technical documentation, including drawings and BOMs, to support manufacturing workflows. -Collaborate with manufacturing teams to transition designs into production, including prototyping, testing, and fabrication support. -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in product design, cost reduction, and process efficiency. -Use Autodesk Fusion 360 to create, modify, and manage 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings. -Develop detailed electrical design drawings for low-voltage switchboards, controls, junction boxes, troughs, and bussed troughways. -Apply Fusion 360’s simulation and CAM tools to validate designs, optimize performance, and generate toolpaths.
