The Role
Overview
Oversee multi-million-dollar heavy civil projects, managing budget, schedule, quality and staff.

Tasks
-Ensure accuracy, appropriate detail and timely submittal of Superintendent's 2-week schedules. -Conduct weekly meetings with project team (to include scheduling and costing review). -Ensure and communicate clear roles and responsibilities to entire project team. -Develop and effectively manage against project budget and ensure project meets projected/required margins. -Ensure overall project quality control, including review of project designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications. -Submit accurate and timely cost and income projections for project. -Update project schedule on monthly basis. -Oversee the issuance of subcontracts and supplier purchase orders. -As an employee of Thalle, you shall act as the liaison and point of contact for multiple Governmental Agencies, Thalle and its subcontractors. -Prepare analytical reports for presentation to upper management. -Ensure accurate recordkeeping is maintained at job site. -Document all change conditions. -Complete all written notification requirements. -Ensure Incident and Injury Free protocols are followed at all times and behaviors and culture are instilled at all levels on the project. -Plan and formulate civil construction projects according to project requirements and engineering standards. -Plan for and organize project staff according to project requirements, including assigning proper personnel to specific projects or components of projects. -Appropriately execute final authority over issue resolution related to project plan and implementation. -Submit accurate and timely payment requisitions. -Ensure timely and appropriate communications of time extensions and delays to owner in accordance with contract requirement. -Act as Thalle's representative with owners and owner's engineers at project meetings. -Appropriately act on changes in project margins and budget variances to ensure project profitability. -Protect Thalle' s interests, minimize conflicts, and professionally resolve issues. -Ensure the appropriate performance management of subcontractors. -Conduct and document ongoing financial projections of project performance throughout project life. -Collaborate with field management to ensure successful resolution of issues between the project plan and site execution on an ongoing basis. -Ensure the accuracy of weekly Viewpoint labor and equipment reports and monthly Viewpoint cost reports. -Create and maintain all project-related documentation and correspondence. -Approve all equipment or personnel changes and requisitions prepared and submitted by superintendents. -Document, prepare, and initiate claims, if necessary. -Identify competent subcontractors and suppliers for projects by comparing and evaluating them based on price, scope, schedule, terms, qualifications and history with Thalle. -Ensure all site operations adhere to Company and site safety policies and protocols. -Maintain timely knowledge of what is occurring on project.

What You Bring
-Demonstrate a thorough understanding of contract terms and specifications. -Strong oral and written communication skills. -Professional license, certifications and contractor's licenses preferred. -Ability to organize and prioritize tasks. -Ability to adapt and work effectively with diverse workforce. -Strong computer skills, including Primavera, Viewpoint, HCSS Heavy Bid. -Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. -Demonstrate understanding of when to elevate issues and/or communicate to upper management. -Worked as a Project Manager on similar types of projects. -Large Diameter Pipe (Over 32 Inch Pipe) Project Management Experience. -Demonstrate thorough understanding of project schedule, key project milestones, and reasons for delays. -Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (4 years). -Ability to manage multiple, large scale, challenging projects. -Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone. -Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. -Minimum 8-10 years job experience in project engineering and project management. -Leadership skills. -Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
