Tasks

-Estimate task durations and meet project deadlines -Perform calculations for lighting levels, voltage drop, conduit/tray fill, wire/conduit sizing, and overcurrent protection -Support cost estimation and material take-offs -Determine motor control center and substation loading -Interpret project scope, specifications, and design criteria -Provide on-site assistance during startup and construction phases -Create accurate electrical installation documents from vendor equipment drawings -Produce installation details, MCC single lines, electric room layouts, motor elementary diagrams, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts, grounding, lighting, power, and instrumentation plans -Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated design efforts

What You Bring

-Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) -Ability to work independently and within virtual teams across offices -Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D desirable), Revit, Navisworks and Microsoft Office Suite -Knowledge of company and industry drafting standards -Willingness to travel occasionally for field verification and support -Effective communication and presentation skills -Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting -Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation materials and construction practices -Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation drafting and design -EPC and power sector experience preferred -Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
