Trainee Accountant

Overview

3-year finance trainee role rotating through accounting tasks while studying for ACCA/CIMA.

Tasks

-Bank Reconciliations, preparing daily payment files -Weekly management information reporting -Take on other ad-hoc duties and projects to support the wider Finance function -Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information -Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems -Processing invoices for contract sales and chasing cash in -Help with the posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments -Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies -Support with tax processes including VAT and CIS
