Assess, label, transport hazardous waste and support customers with technical expertise.

Tasks

-Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations, COSHH, and dangerous goods transport requirements -Generate and complete transport documentation, safety data, and quotes using IT systems -Assess, list, package and label hazardous waste streams, including sampling and drum inspection at customer sites -Handle waste transfer operations including pumping, decanting, and re-drumming of containers -Manage inventory levels and assist with spillage clearance when needed -Safely collect and transport hazardous waste in compliance with regulations and company procedures -Foster positive customer relationships and adhere to site rules while maintaining professional standards -Provide technical support and mentoring to customers and colleagues

What You Bring

-Must have a valid UK driving licence. -Knowledge of environmental legislation. -A degree/HNC in chemistry or a relevant scientific qualification. -Good interpersonal skills for dealing with customers. -An ability to overcome problems and find solutions independently. -Licence, and first aid qualifications however, these will be provided. -Additional desired qualifications would be an ADR Licence, Fork Lift Truck -A high level of literacy and numeracy -The ability to work as part of a team and upon their own initiative.
