Overview

Lead DevOps team, manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, security, and automation.

Tasks

-Supporting and improving container-based development practices. -Creating disaster recovery plans and monitoring network backups. -Leading the automation effort and maintaining servers to the latest security standards. -Enforcing DevOps practices in collaboration with software developers. -Routine security scanning for malicious software, suspicious network activity, and protocol analysis to identify and remedy network performance issues. -Managing the backlogs and their delivery -Contributing to maturing DevOps culture, showcasing a methodical approach to problem-solving, and following agile practices. -Collaboration on defining security requirements and conducting tests to identify weaknesses. -Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems. -Enhancing development and release processes through automation. -Configuration and maintenance of secure infrastructure, including address translations, port security for firewalls, and ensuring compliance with security standards. -Building, securing, and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructures. -Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). -Automating alerts for system availability and performance monitoring. -Log analysis and monitoring in distributed application scenarios. -Building deployment and testing pipelines using Jenkins, CloudFormation, and Puppet for automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure. -Managing team members and their reporting, mentoring who shall be working across multiple products -Load testing using JMeter. -Troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and providing operational support.

What You Bring

-Understanding and applying static code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube). -Experience with Microservices Architecture and using Kubernetes -Understanding of network technologies and networking in general -Strong knowledge of containerization -Understanding of web applications, web-related protocols, service-oriented architectures, and web services. -Proficiency in DNS management and setting up HTTPS certificates and SSL tunnels. -Hands-on experience in infrastructure as code (IaC): Terraform preferred. -Willingness to learn and research technologies and solutions to build new tools that gets the job done. -Expertise in troubleshooting system issues causing downtime or performance degradation. -8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps in Linux or Windows based systems. -Proficiency in working with a variety of operating systems, including Windows and Linux. -Strong knowledge of Cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, EBS, VPC, ELB, SES, Elastic IP, Route53) and Azure -Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana tools, Node Exporter, and Sentry. -Experience with high availability setups for databases such as PostgreSQL -Scripting experience with Bash and Python. -Prototyping solutions, evaluating new tools, and engaging in incident handling and root cause analysis. -Expertise in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, GitOps (ArgoCD) -Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub actions. -Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git. -Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies, including Change Management and Release Management. -Work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
