Overview
Conduct acoustic analyses, field measurements, and client consulting for noise projects.

Tasks
-Taking ownership of timeline and budget to deliver a successful project from data acquisition through analysis, consulting, and reporting. -Adhering to a defined quality assurance process. -Producing high quality, thoughtful analysis using commercially available software packages and in-house tools. -Building code requirements and applicable metrics (e.g. STC, NC, etc). -Modelling software (e.g., Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A, etc). -Conducting field measurements and inspections at commercial, residential, institutional, and construction sites primarily around the greater Vancouver or Calgary areas.

What You Bring
-Superior written and verbal communication skills -Consulting experience -Minimum 5 years of experience in an acoustical or environmental noise consulting environment, or equivalent related field. -Availability to work in-person in our office. -Communicating complex technical concepts in straight-forward language. -Valid driver’s license. -Demonstrated knowledge of key areas of acoustics such as -Ability to interpret architectural/mechanical/electrical drawings and specifications. -Current registration or ability to register with Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) or Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) as an E.I.T. or P.Eng. -Ability to deliver quality technical work with focus on project budgets and deliverable schedules. -Active and frequent communication with project managers, clients, and others within the Acoustics team. -Familiarity with acoustic instrumentation, data acquisition systems and digital signal processing. -Undergraduate degree in an applicable engineering discipline.
