Tasks

-Check credit of guest accounts daily and follow up if action is required -Provide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associate -Must be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow employees and hotel assets -Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc. -Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and person -Balance the day’s business in a neat, orderly, and timely fashion -Adhere to all standard operating procedures and property specific brand standards -Keep cash drawer secure and in balance throughout the shift -Sell and upsell rooms to walk-in guests and phone reservations -Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests

What You Bring

-Be able to work independently and serve as key role for overnight hotel support -Must have eyesight enabling vision both near and far -Must have knowledge of surrounding area -Able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds -Is organized, honest, and works well with others -Have general knowledge of housekeeping -Have knowledge of all hotel systems including phone PBX, key lock, and PMS reservation systems -Have finger dexterity for operating equipment such as computer PMS -Able to remember property computer systems to ensure customers can be checked in and out, make adjustments to reservations, review balances and other needed computer related items per brand training -Able to report to scheduled shifts -Can complete all tasks described on the relevant shift check list -Able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds Has the highest degree of integrity and is humble, living by the Golden Rule -Can perform work for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment -Have knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures -Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch and lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds -Must be able to handle pressure situations appropriately -Must be able to work over night independently -Must speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, and understand English -Be able to work all night, and also be available for other shifts at front desk when necessary -Must be able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hours -Must be able to write effectively to communicate shift and guest needs -Able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person
