Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Tasks

-Prepare, maintain and coordinate schedules of multiple concurrent projects -Resolve design conflicts and field construction issues -Supervise the work of engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to the project -Develop project work plans and budget projections and effectively deploy resources -Review, interpret and act on business metrics, including utilization, backlog, work in process and account receivables -Develop and track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery -Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures -Grow, mentor and train staff -Complete monthly project accounting and invoicing -Manage the design and delivery of projects in a profitable manner -Represent clients and firm in meetings with governmental agencies -Write proposals and participate and/or lead interviews -Participate in contract bidding, provide limited observation during construction, review submittals and RFIs -Lead business development activities -Build relationships internally and externally with clients and strategic partners -Ensures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service. -Oversee the technical aspects of various projects

What You Bring

Our ideal candidate will have 10+ years of water/wastewater design and project management experience supporting water/wastewater design projects. This position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, business development, client contact and growth of a water/wastewater design team. -Demonstrated ability to manage water/wastewater design projects in a profitable manner -Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization -Extensive knowledge of conveyance and storage designs -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications -Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills -Outgoing, friendly, approachable -Ability to manage staff and direct resources effectively -Understanding of alternative delivery methods -Lead by example - display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism
