Overview
Design and manage mechanical projects for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

Tasks
-Perform mechanical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion. -Complies with all policies and standards -Develop proposals and work plans for project pursuits, opportunities and execution of successful projects. -Performs field inspections, measurements or calculations for public and private clients. -Research and compile project related data as required by the project managers. -Update drawings provided by senior engineers to verify corrections are made within multiple CAD related software. -Design mechanical components for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers. -Compiles information for client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration for the design of power, process, pipeline, industrial, healthcare, airports, educational institutions, commercial, and governmental and military facilities. -Modify and review production drawings for a variety of projects including, but not limited to: power plants, process facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, airports, educational institutions, commercial, and governmental and military facilities.

What You Bring
-Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills. -Strong computer skills include AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), 3D Rendering Programs, hydraulic analysis, and HVAC analysis programs. -Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Proficient in standard engineering techniques and procedures. -Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) -Professional Engineering License preferred. -Engineers in Training-EIT Certification preferred. -Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program, successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and 5 years of mechanical engineering experience, consulting preferred. -Meet with Clients and perform site investigations with project manager and team. Ability to successfully communicate and engage Clients to help win project work. -Applies strong knowledge of commonly used mechanical engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the mechanical engineering services industry. -Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills. -Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of mechanical engineering experience, consulting preferred. Required -Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. and 3 years of mechanical engineering experience, consulting preferred.
