Tasks

-Represent the organization in industry forums and engage with regulatory bodies on SHE matters -Develop and deliver SHE training programs to enhance awareness and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility -Analyze SHE performance data and prepare detailed reports for senior management -Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure the safety of personnel and minimize environmental impact -Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the SHE field, particularly within the infrastructure sector -Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on SHE matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SHE considerations into project planning and execution -Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety, health, and environmental (SHE) strategies for infrastructure project, RTA Approval candidates are mandatory. -Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to SHE protocols -Lead the development and implementation of SHE policies, procedures, and best practices

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of sustainability practices in infrastructure development -Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously -In-depth knowledge of local and international SHE regulations and standards applicable to the infrastructure industry -Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master's) preferred -Proficiency in safety management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and environmental impact analysis -Relevant professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) -Demonstrated success in improving safety performance and environmental sustainability metrics -Familiarity with the UAE's regulatory environment and cultural context is highly desirable -Minimum of 12 years of experience in safety, health, and environment roles within the infrastructure sector -Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels -Advanced data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights -Proven track record of developing and implementing effective SHE policies and procedures
