Tasks
Execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives by securing the right goods and services at optimal value, while ensuring quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Concurrently, analyze market trends, mitigate supply chain risks, and develop technically and commercially capable suppliers to strengthen competitive advantage, ultimately driving profitability and sustainable growth for the company. Additionally, provide cross-functional support to category management in various strategic initiatives and MMHE project bidding activities, fostering alignment across departments and enhancing overall project execution. -Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline supplier onboarding and performance during bidding and project delivery stages. -Liaise with Category Manager to develop long-term partnerships with key suppliers and facilitate regular meetings to review performance and strategic alignment. -Lead bid evaluation process and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Engineering, Quality Control, and Legal to ensure thorough and aligned assessment. -Execute procurement strategy for new bids by adopting appropriate sourcing methodology. -Execute and process contract and price negotiations with supplier(s) alongside the commercial task force to secure favourable terms and conditions. -Liaise and identify with cross-functional teams to align category plans from the early bidding phase through project execution, ensuring a robust and comprehensive strategy is established. -Execute and analyze strategic partnerships with key supplier(s) e.g., Price Agreements or Pre-Bid Agreements to achieve procurement efficiency and maintaining cost effectiveness. -Gathering, analyzing and interpreting data to identify market trends, demand forecast, supply market analysis and opportunities for improvement. -Identify and execute proactive mitigation plans to anticipate dynamic supply market changes in order to minimize the company’s risk exposure. -Develop category strategies through close collaboration and strategic input from category managers, ensuring alignment with business goals and market dynamics -Supporting the operations buyer during the execution stage involves providing end-to-end assistance to ensure procurement activities are carried out efficiently and in alignment with operational needs -Collect and analyze supplier databases to gain insights into market dynamics and intelligence, serving as a strategic reference for developing effective category plans. -Conduct detailed analysis of buy-out items in bid proposals to support effective discussions prior to commercial team meetings with clients. -Identify and analyze the selection of suppliers based on strategic goals, develop the supplier base and identify new suppliers to enhance the supply chain across all project phases, from initial bidding through to successful execution. -Collaborate with the vendor management and Category Manager team to sort and evaluate the supplier database in alignment with the category strategy. -Analyze and execute the category strategies to support the company’s business needs and enhance the value chain of supply management -Execute sourcing and develop cost proposals to ensure timely submission and compliance with tender requirements. -Leverage market data and competitive analysis to inform negotiation positions while benchmarking supplier capabilities and pricing to identify negotiation opportunities.

-5 years in Supply Chain Management experience, preferably in oil and gas industry, shipyard or related marine industry. -Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or other professional-related qualifications.
