Tasks
-Lead and mentor a team of engineers throughout the project life cycle. -Support procurement by preparing technical scopes of work and evaluating vendor proposals. -Provide technical guidance during installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, EN, and other applicable standards and regulatory requirements. -Lead engineering activities for the design, development, and delivery of HV substation and grid connection projects. -Identify and address resourcing needs for current and upcoming projects. -Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure technical compliance. -Proactively assess and communicate project risks throughout all stages. -Collaborate with the Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) function on all project-related matters.

Due to continued growth, our client, a leading construction company operating in Ireland, the UK, and internationally, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding team in Cork. -Skilled in managing multiple projects concurrently -Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required standards -Experience with energy management systems and integration of automated control systems into electrical networks -In-depth knowledge of HV and MV network requirements in industrial settings, with a focus on resilience and system studies -3+ years’ experience in electrical engineering design and/or project management -Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support others. -Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
