Tasks

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Building Automation Technician based in Greater Boston. The technician will be responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining building automation systems. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing system performance issues, integrating various control systems, configuring hardware and software, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Collaboration with contractors, clients, and team members will be a key part of this role.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, and reading technical diagrams -Experience with Building Automation Systems (Honeywell, JCI, Dostech), HVAC controls, and related technologies -Bachelor’s degree or technical training in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields is advantageous -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills -Ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients -Experience working in the Facilities Services industry is preferred -Relevant certifications, such as BACnet, LonWorks, or similar, are a plus -Skills in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting automation devices and software
