Data Center HVAC Technician

Overview

Maintain and troubleshoot data center HVAC and cooling systems to ensure uptime.

Tasks

-Respond quickly to mechanical equipment failures or temperature excursions to protect IT assets. -Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) per schedule to ensure reliable system performance. -Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including CRAC/CRAH units, Airewall’s, chillers, condensers, & pumps. -Escalate critical events to management and assist in root cause analysis after incidents. -Replace filters, and other mechanical components as needed.

What You Bring

-Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and wiring diagrams. -Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call duty. -Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, chilled water systems, and air distribution systems. -Experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers facilities. -EPA Section 608 Certification -EPA Section 608 Certification - Universal -Familiarity with BMS/BAS systems for monitoring and control. -Experience with Liebert, Stulz, Airedale Or other precision cooling equipment. -High school diploma or equivalent -Technical school preferred -2+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
