The Role

Overview

Drive HVAC/BAS sales, manage accounts, and provide technical solutions in SF area

Tasks

-Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity and business plans -Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations. Verifies and quotes prices, credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained -Work in assigned territory, partnering closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the Parts team and Technicians -Meet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business -Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships and follow up on customer concerns -Work with multiple vendors/contractors to deliver complex, highly customizable products/solutions to clients -Identify and implement tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI) -Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information or any other lead generation source -Perform tests and conducts surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products -Plan, organize, and guide projects through to completion; involves internal and external subject matter experts as needed

What You Bring

-Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software -Bachelors Degree or High School Diploma/equivalent + additional years of related work experience -2+ years of related sales experience -Demonstrated ability to influence the market -Commercial HVAC sales experience -Ability to travel territory daily -Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts -The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth -Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record -Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, communications, or related field
