DevSecOps Platform Engineer

Design, secure, and automate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in a DevSecOps role.

Tasks

-Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security best practices (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD). -Help with release management and deployment of microservices in a Kubernetes environment (AWS EKS, Azure AKS). -Ensure compliance with industry security standards and frameworks (NIST 800-171). -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud costs, security, and performance. -Enhance logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack. -Develop documentation and training materials to promote DevSecOps culture across the organization. -Automate cloud resource rollout using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible. -Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure). -Help with vulnerability assessments, security monitoring, and incident response automation. -Maintain and enhance helm charts for deployment of Docker-based microservices. -Work with developers to implement secure coding practices and application security testing.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Golang, JavaScript -Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field -Proficient working in Agile teams and associated tools (JIRA, etc.) -Familiarity with software supply chain security (SBOM, Dependency Scanning). -ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team -Familiarity with SATCOM, spectral processing and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) -Experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, SIEM, and IDS/IPS. -Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, and Zero Trust security models. -Proficiency with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) principles and tools -Familiarity with security testing methodologies and tools, such as vulnerability scanning and penetration testing -Experience with serverless architectures and microservices security. -Experience working in air-gapped environments (IL6) -Top Secret clearance -Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail -5+ years of experience in DevOps, Security, or Infrastructure Engineering. -Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management -Proficiency with git-based development workflows and pipelines. -Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). -Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash). -Proficiency with administering Linux-based operating systems. -Proficiency with cloud security best practices. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal -Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, AWS/Azure Security).
