Tasks

-Question and investigate daily inquiries from production and/or maintenance. -Propose the best solution based on cost, time, feasibility, and impact on production and KPI targets. -Provide daily process support ensuring minimal downtime within the line. -Support production-initiated kaizen to ensure no negative impact on KPIs. -Lead and support change management within the paint group. -Lead equipment and refurbishment projects and/or process changes. -Lead new material introductions to ensure no negative impact on KPIs. -Investigate perceived process and/or equipment problems using systematic analysis. -Develop project proposals, strategies, and operating plans. -Coordinate cross-department investigations. -Report identified problems, root causes, possible countermeasures, and recommended solutions to management.

What You Bring

-Experience with paint systems -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering -Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or another technical field -Knowledge of Fanuc robotics -Experience with high visibility materials -Automotive manufacturing expertise -Process improvement skills -Experience with equipment installation -Experience in process improvements and automation engineering -Experience with paint in a manufacturing environment -Willingness to work weekends and shutdown periods as necessary
