Senior Project Engineer

Lead senior engineer delivering onshore brownfield project within schedule and budget in Dubai.

Tasks

-Identify potential Risks associated, flag those for impact assessment and explore mitigatory measures -Steward the delivery of Portfolio/Project within schedule/Budget, with due focus on internal/external stakeholders’ requirements/satisfaction -Establish excellent working relationship with construction contractors in country, ensure adequate reporting mechanisms are in place -Assist leadership and peers to improve delivery performance/ Recognize customer needs beyond the immediate scope and maximize delivery opportunities throughout wider business where required. -Maintain positive customer relationship, fostering and enhancing relationship management with open, honest and effective communications -Prepare of Project Close out report/Secure approvals and handing over -Ensure day-to-day operations maintain a continued alignment with overall corporate policy, strategy, and direction -Generate contracting and tendering strategies/plan, Coordinate /Assist ITT preps, Administer Bid evaluation process -Ensure interface management, liaising with the Client’s Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff from inception till close out -Liaison with Engineering disciplines /Document Controls for generation & maintenance of Deliverable Register (MDR) -Coordinate preparation /submission of Final Documentation Dossier -Establishing Work Orders WBS Structure and alignment of proposals & CTR development with an emphasis on scope development -Review & approve progress reports / Milestone invoices from various vendors and endorse to register it in the system -Review/ Input Financial Reports: Monthly Cost Reports, monitoring of expenditures (VOWD / WIP), Estimate to complete (ETC) -Ensure Engineering/Procurement/Construction are being executed as per the schedule/budget -Manage resourcing trends/ forecasts across the portfolio and address re-allocation / mobilization requirements upfront -Establish Project performance evaluation mechanism/KPIs – baseline schedule/PMS/Dashboards and regular updates of the same -Oversee LLI procurements (MR/TBEs/vendor docs/delivery) are being done as per plan & budgets -Interactions with the project sponsor/customer, regularly reviews and reports project progress to senior management and/or the sponsor/customer -Support in recruitment, selection, and development of talent, ensuring performance standards to achieve continuous performance improvement
