Tasks

-Write and review technical reports and proposals. -Serve as senior technical lead on cumulative project total of $2M to $3M annually. -Assist with project management activities. -Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product. -Identifying and developing successful client relationships and new business development opportunities with public and private clients on local, regional or national basis; business development of $400,000 annual revenue -Contribute to successful business development of new clients and projects at greater than $500K annually.

What You Bring

-BS in Engineering. Master's degree is preferred. -Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices. -Experience with Deltek Vision is preferred. -40-hour HAZWOPER certification. -Strong communication skills. -Experience with oil & gas, manufacturing industries, utilities, landfills, and chlorinated solvent sites highly desired, Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP) groups, municipalities. (preferred) -Ability to grow an existing bustling practice in one of the following areas: brownfields redevelopment, groundwater/soil characterization and remediation, landfill engineering, or water resources; -Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. -Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects. -Proven track record of mentoring and developing staff. (preferred) -Minimum 8 years of experience with environmental/remediation services, including technical writing, technical oversight, project management, business development, and staff management. -Valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required. -California PE required -Proven track record in business development and project management experience, a plus.
