Tasks

Direct feasibility analysis, zoning strategy, and entitlement efforts Lead and mentor Land Acquisition Managers across multiple markets Drive corporate land goals and multi-market growth strategy Source and secure land for multifamily development Reporting to the COO, this executive plays a key role in the company’s continued growth and long-term pipeline strategy. You are a true player-coach—identifying and evaluating land opportunities, negotiating, and securing purchase agreements, and leading an experienced team of Land Acquisition Managers who support multifamily, master-planned communities, and finished-lot acquisitions across the region. Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, and municipal officials Prepare and present acquisition proposals to senior leadership

What You Bring

Proven leadership experience in land or development teams 10+ years of multifamily and/or residential land acquisition experience Strong expertise in zoning, land planning, and entitlements Regional experience in the Southeast and/or Mid-Atlantic preferred Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
