Tasks

-Lead field execution on high-voltage transmission and substation projects -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Drive client engagement and represent Kiewit in planning and problem-solving meetings -Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover -Develop a program to maintain good client relations involving staff on site -Ensure that all performance evaluations and completed in a timely fashion for direct reports -Initiate and attend supplementary and regular meeting with client for problem resolution and planning -Mentor and develop junior superintendents and foremen -Oversee and approve the monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections -Review and approve or reject promotions up to General Foremen. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Recommend, where appropriate, organizational, policy, and procedural or staff changes -Maintain daily diary for record-keeping purposes -Oversee subcontractor coordination and contract administration -Mentor and help to grow Jr. Superintendents

What You Bring

-8+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role on transmission or substation projects -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Regular, reliable attendance -Excellent communication, planning, and negotiation skills -Proven ability to lead teams on complex, large-scale infrastructure projects -Strong understanding of progressive design-build or ECI models is a plus
