Lead Engineer - Transmission Line

Tasks

-Perform independent reviews of work performed by others, including calculations, drawings, specification, and transmission line PLS-CADD models. -Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. -Design transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications. -Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as required. -Prepare and review technical specifications and drawings. -Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. -Mentor and train lower-level engineers and team members. -Conduct engineering analysis and simulations for transmission line design. -Perform field work as required to support design, construction, and commissioning activities. -Provide support to the project team during construction and installation. -Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met.

What You Bring

-PE License required. -Minimum of 5+ years of experience in transmission line design for high voltage applications. (Hiring for all position levels, depending upon experience) -Strong desire to mentor, train and lead next generation of engineers. -Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as NESC, ASCE, ACI, RUS, IEC, and IEEE. -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment. -Proficiency in engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, FAD Tools, and AutoCAD. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical). -Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles and tools. -Strong working knowledge of foundation design and analysis.
