Tasks

-Plan and design bridge structures to ensure structural reliability, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. -Conduct or Lead In-Service Bridge Inspectors in the inspection, documentation, and quantification of deficient bridge elements. -Build and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. -Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks with precision and efficiency. -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and junior Engineers working on the same project. -Develop engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, cost estimates, surveys, and designs. -Serve as a lead engineer for specific disciplines on small to intermediate-sized projects or contribute as part of a larger project team.

What You Bring

-Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is strongly preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required. -Proficiency in CAD and other engineering bridge design and analysis software tools is essential. -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Professional Engineering (PE) license and other relevant certifications may be required. -3-7 years of experience in highway/roadway engineering design is required. -FHWA In-Service Bridge Inspection Certifications is preferred -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. -Demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative problem-solving, and delivering superior results.
