Overview
Design architect for life‑science facilities, handling full project phases.

Tasks
-Prepare and coordinate project information and its timely issue to the Project Architect, Client, Contractor and the project team -Proactively promote Design Risk Assessment best practices and seek to eliminate identified hazards during the early design phases -Develop the BIM model for the resulting design and coordinate with the BIM Coordinator and all other internal and external project team members -Coordinate the activities of the design team and provide feedback to the Lead Architect -Generate design drawings under supervision of Lead Architect -Take design brief and develop concepts and design intent -Work with the Lead Architect to ensure designs are compliant with building regulations and planning constraints -Responsible to the Lead Architect for coordination of design and construction information within the constraints on quality, time and costs -Participate and/or lead design reviews -Foster a collaborative/team working spirit and take a positive approach towards development of self and others -Actively help and support others to achieve team goals -Develop appropriate design solutions in close collaboration with the Lead Architect -Support the Lead Architect in ensuring that all project files are set up and processes comply with PM Group procedures -Participate in regular site visits when applicable to the project

What You Bring
-A professional degree in Architecture is preferred -Life Science industry experience is strongly preferred -The ability to think creatively -8+ Years’ experience performing Architectural design work -Able to manage time efficiently to achieve project goals -Proficient in the use of Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office suite -Good understanding of other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Process Engineering) -Excellent spatial awareness -Strong work ethic -Good commercial awareness and business acumen -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
