Tasks

As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in producing accurate technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD, ensuring our projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to develop detailed construction drawings and ensure design intent is accurately reflected on-site. -Assist in the coordination of drawings between different disciplines (e.g. structural, mechanical). -Produce and amend 2D drawings using AutoCAD to support project planning and construction. -Work closely with the design and project management teams to resolve design issues. -Ensure all drawings are produced in line with company standards and client requirements. -Maintain and update drawing registers and documentation. -Interpret architectural and engineering sketches and convert them into technical drawings.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of building regulations and construction processes is a plus. -Previous experience in a construction or architectural environment. -Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. -Proficient in AutoCAD with a strong understanding of technical drawing standards. -Experience with other CAD software (e.g. Revit, SketchUp) is an advantage but not essential. -Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
