As a Service & Assembly Engineer, you’ll split your time between the factory workshop in Oxford and customer sites across the UK. One week you might be wiring a control panel and testing a new filling system in house; the next, you’re on the road diagnosing a fault or installing upgrades. You’ll carry out scheduled service visits, handle occasional emergency callouts, and provide technical support to customers during and after installations.
A good understanding of pneumatics, electrical control panels, or PLC logic is a bonus, but not essential. Above all, you're a team player who enjoys variety and values flexibility.
You’re a hands on engineer with a strong mechanical background and ideally some electrical skills too. You may have experience building, wiring, or servicing machinery and you’re comfortable reading drawings, solving technical problems under pressure, and speaking directly with customers. You take pride in doing high quality work, staying calm when things get tough, and helping others out along the way.
BenefitsYou’ll join a business where people genuinely enjoy their work. The team runs on trust, humour, and shared values and you’ll be given the space to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work. The role offers a competitive salary depending on experience, a four-day working week, flexible hours, a workplace pension, and the chance to work on unique machinery for a wide range of industries.
Salary: £40k-£50k
You’ll work four days a week (Mon–Thu, 07:00–17:00), with the flexibility and camaraderie of a small, supportive team behind you.
