Lead design and delivery of waste‑water and bioresource treatment processes for major UK projects.

Tasks

-Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. -Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. -Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. -Adhere to quality assurance standards in design. -Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.

What You Bring

-Awareness of process modelling techniques and software, e.g. BioWIn, SUMO. -Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations: primary / secondary / tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour and energy management. -Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM). -Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations. -Fundamental understanding and experience of integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment process. -Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
