-Be responsible for continuing education and learning based on project needs, as well as overall needs of the team -Be responsible for time management and product quality -Follow Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans -Building plumbing system(s) -Manage multiple assignments concurrently -Building fire protection system(s) -Building HVAC system(s) -Utilize Microsoft Excel based calculation tools for design calculations -Keep accurate and up-to-date project accounting on all assigned projects -Utilizing BIM design software to produce construction drawings -Building whole building energy modeling -Building sustainability requirements reporting
-Must have strong communication skills -Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college. -Minimum of 3 years of building design and construction industry experience -Must have a knowledge base of mechanical engineering principals related to building mechanical designs -Must be proficient with MS Office Suite -Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam -Experience with Autodesk Revit -Experience with AIA MasterSpec -Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD -Knowledge of mechanical engineering and sustainability principles -Experience with Carrier HAP or similar HVAC load analysis program
