Oversee hotel maintenance operations, staff, repairs, and guest satisfaction.

Tasks
-Oversee daily operations, sustainability programs, inventory, ordering, and scheduling all within a set department budget at each hotel. -Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags. -Support the goals of each hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments. -Comply with InnVentures Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. -Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. -Troubleshoot various technical devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc. -Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required. -Oversee safety programs and key control at each hotel. -Hire, train, supervise, motivate, counsel and recognize the maintenance staff at each hotel. -Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings. -Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner. -Greet and assist guests with all requests. Proactively garner relationships with long term and repeat guests to develop loyalty and maintain a high level of satisfaction. -Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance in all areas of the hotels and inspect work completed by others to ensure quality and standards are met. -Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.

What You Bring
-High school diploma or equivalent required. -Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. -Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. -Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. -Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives. -Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information. -HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required. -Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. -Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. -At least 3 years of progressive facilities management experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 2-year college degree and 1 year of related management experience.
