Tasks
You will report into the Group Operations Manager and be responsible for assisting with day-to-day facilities and operational management, risk, security and compliance and sustainability of assets. -Assist in the collation of date and management of property asset registers and contractor registers. -Data analysis to improve asset operational and environmental performance. -Provide support in the sustainability strategy including waste management and solar initiatives -Manage subcontractor relationships and arrange PPM's, reactive repairs and capital works, aligning with asset priorities. -Provide general support and assistance to the Group Operations Manager, Head of Asset Management, Portfolio Manager, property and leasing team, retail partners, external stakeholders and third-party contractors. -Support and assist in the management of service contracts across the portfolio ensuring delivery of contract administration, contractor compliance and performance management of contract KPI's. -Assist in the day to day facilities, operations and building management functions across the Group's NSW assets, whilst being based in NSW Head office. -Assist in delivery of tenancy coordination activities, including coordination if category 1 and essential services works and assist in overseeing lessee fit out requirements.

What You Bring
A new opening has become available for an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the retail and commercial assets located in NSW. You will be based in the office in Neutral Bay with travel to sites as and when required. Our client provide property management, leasing, marketing and operations/facilities management for a shopping centre portfolio therefore we are seeking candidates with shopping centre experience. -Experience in operations, facilities management, engineering, trade, or building services -Strong administrative skills and financial and commercial acumen\Proven contract negotiation/management -Ability to embed and influence Work Health and Safety culture -Proven ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders and contract partners -Shopping centre experience
