Tasks

-Write project reports, analyze, and interpret data, and prepare final reports to be submitted for Senior and clients review -Develop the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects from our diverse portfolio and manage budgets -Review and approve vendor work proposals and invoices -Prepare and review of new clientele proposals for federal, state, and private industry -Prepare and review of work plans, technical documents, and reports for federal, state, and local agencies -Conduct regular field visits to drive project execution and ensure that appropriate technical and health and safety procedures are being followed

What You Bring

-Motivated self-starter and ability to perform periodic field work -Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, earth or environmental science related field -Advanced technical capabilities associated with the specific field of expertise -Strong commitment to Safety and staff development -Technical writing competency and computer literacy -Strong problem solving, research, and communication skills -Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification or willingness and ability to obtain in 6 - 12 months (will pay for study and testing materials) -Possess ability to effectively manage personnel and administrative functions -Three or More years of experience in geological assessments, water supply, water treatment, environmental assessments, contaminant investigation, contaminant remediation, storm water management, wastewater treatment, permitting projects, or compliance projects in the public and private sectors -Consulting experience -Demonstrated ability to properly manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring compliance with deliverable timelines -Professional Registration/Certification or ability to attain within two years of hire -Ability to work individually and as a team member -In-depth experience with service line specific cost projections, budget preparation and tracking -Strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience interacting with governmental regulatory agencies -Ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with site operations -Ability to travel within the western regional US -Willingness to conduct Business Development activities -Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of the consulting business
