Site Quality Inspector

Inspect welding work, ensure code compliance, manage turnover packages on industrial sites

Tasks

You will be part of a top-performing project team and report to an expert in the industry. This position regularly interacts with project managers, project engineers, site supervisors, and company operations leaders. -Compile all appropriate documents in the turnover package. -Utilize punch lists to identify incomplete items and present to supervision. -Stop and report all unsafe conditions and acts. -Inspect the welds, assigns numbers for the weld map, create weld logs. -Perform all aspects of Hydro-test and Turnover Package maintenance. -Be responsible for inspecting all site welds and ensuring compliance with governing guidelines. -Ensure welders are qualified for the welding being performed.

What You Bring

-Experience with at least one of the following: Heat Maps, Weld Maps, Hydro Packages -Understand the governing construction codes. -Has administered weld tests, as required -Understand the inspection and test plan requirements applicable to the work scope. -Minimum of 2 years professional experience with piping inspection -Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel, WORD, Outlook, and technical aptitude to learn new systems -Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a constantly changing environment -Certified Welding Inspector with AWS or similar -Knowledge of ASME codes and applications
